In the heart of the displacement camps in the north of the Gaza Strip, where winter winds pass through fragile tents, Al-Amal Society for Women and Child continues to stand beside displaced families during the war, offering warmth, dignity, and care.
Through its Winter Clothes and Footwear Distribution Project, Al-Amal provided children and women with essential winter clothing to protect them from harsh weather conditions. The project began with carefully sourcing suitable clothes, followed by a detailed process of cleaning, sorting, and packing each item to ensure safety, hygiene, and respect for every beneficiary.
Beyond distribution, the intervention carried a deeper purpose. Mothers received guidance on child care in cold conditions, helping them protect their children’s health and support their growth despite the difficult living environment. Special attention was given to children showing signs of cold-related health issues, ensuring timely care and awareness.
In tents where warmth is scarce, this project offered more than clothing; it restored a sense of comfort, protection, and hope, reminding families that they are not facing these hardships alone.
