Under the spirit of Ramadan, Al-Amal Society for Women and Child organized a series of collective iftars; true expressions of “Ma’idah Ramadan” ,best translated as “The Ramadan Table of Mercy and Togetherness.” These gatherings were dedicated to orphaned children living in displacement camps across northern Gaza, creating moments of dignity and warmth amid hardship.
The society prepared and distributed complete iftar meals including rice and meat dishes, fresh bread, dates, desserts, and clean water bottles, ensuring every child and family could break their fast with comfort and care.
Beyond food, the atmosphere was filled with life. A celebrational Ramadan band performed spiritual songs and joyful rhythms, lifting spirits and bringing smiles to young faces.
Through these collective iftars, Al-Amal reaffirmed its humanitarian commitment: not only to feed, but to restore hope, strengthen community bonds, and remind every child that they are seen, valued, and never alone.
